Can you believe it, it’s the last day of August. I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer! I have loved the last month of enjoying my new city and getting settled in my new house. I am starting a new blog series every month detailing all my favorites from the month, it could be anything from favourite places, drinks, beauty products or any fashion finds. And now to my August favorites!
My absolute favorite this month has to be spending time at the lake. Summer time in Kelowna is so gorgeous and its pretty much sunny and hot every day and there is no better way to cool off. I am lucky to have family living on the lake so spending lazy days on the dock is easy and fun, plus a bonus you get in some great family time.
Okay so since I am living in wine country now its only fitting my favorite drink right now is wine. I am a white wine drinker and after touring a lot of the wineries here over the last couple of months my favorite is Grey Monk Kerner. It is a sweeter wine but a must try.
Replica Beach Walk is actually my all time favorite perfume that I wear all year long, but theres something special and satisfying about smelling like you have just been playing in the waves and sand all summer long.
FAVOURITE BEAUTY PRODUCT
The summer heat and sun can really dry my skin out, I spend a lot of time outside in the elements and I cannot go without a great moisturizer. My got to is the Elemis Night Moisturizer. I love the texture it has and how great my skin feels. I put it on at night before bed and my skin feels so soft and radiant in the morning.
Summer dresses are probably what I have worn the most this month. With the heat this month it is really the best outfit. Of course swimsuits have been a big part of my wardrobe, whether at the lake or hanging by the pool I have a few favorites that I wear all the time. This one piece is so classic, I love the two tone style and the high neck line.
FAVORITE SPOT IN KELOWNA
So I have only been here 2 months but one of my favorite places so far in Kelowna is the Kelowna waterfront. You can grab a coffee and walk along the water for miles. I love the views and people watching here. A definite must do when visiting Kelowna.
What are some of your favorites you have been obsessing over lately? I hope you guys have enjoyed the summer and have some exciting things planned for the month ahead.
