MY SMOOTHIE OBSESSION


Spring is officially here and I am obsessed with smoothies right now. Pretty much any smoothie, healthy green smoothie, fruit protein smoothie and even the desert smoothies. They are perfect when you are short on time and can get you through a long day feeling satisfied.
I have tried so many different recipes and I can't possibly list all of them here so I am sharing a few smoothie recipes that I have on repeat right now.

STRAWBERRY COCONUT PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

  • 1 scoop strawberry shakeology or protein powder

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries fresh or frozen

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 8 oz unsweetened coconut milk

  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes


BANANA MANGO AND AVOCADO SMOOTHIE

  • 1 banana, frozen

  • 1 cup mango chunks, frozen

  • 1 cup spinach

  • ½ medium avocado

  • 1 cup almond milk or other non-dairy milk

  • Splash of vanilla extract

  • Few drops of stevia extract or other sweetener (optional)


FROZEN HOT CHOCOLATE SMOOTHIE

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats

  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/2-1 Tbsp maple syrup, to taste

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 medium-size ripe banana, frozen

  • 2-3 ice cubes (optional)
