Wine Wednesday!! The best day of the week in my opinion. As most of you know I like in wine country and have been profiling various wineries thorough the Okanagan region. There is some exciting Wine Wednesday content coming your way over the next coupe of months including a Fall wine getaway. Today I thought I would change it up and share one of my favourite wine cocktails I have been making all summer long. Rosé is a must during summer evening on the patio so I came up with this cocktail using one of my favourite Rosé, Mt Boucherie Rose.
Ingredients:
Mt Boucherie Rosé
Raspberry Lemonade
Frozen Raspberries
Sparkling water ( I used strawberry flavour )
Mint
Lemon for garnish
DIRECTIONS
Mull some fresh mint in the glass
Fill glass with ice
Pour Rosé into about 1/2 the glass
Pour raspberry lemonade into glass to fill in about 3/4
Fill the rest of the glass with sparkling water of choice
Put some frozen raspberries in
Garnish with a lemon slice
This wine cocktail is so refreshing and even though I have been drinking it all summer long I can't wait for the September nights to enjoy this cocktail on my patio.
The recipe is super easy to follow and you can make it your own, adding your favourite type of lemonade or wine.
