Off-the-shoulder stripes, and my favorite color combo, all for under $60... How could I resist?!? I mean its not like I don't have enough off the shoulder dresses, but I really think you can't have enough of this seasons fashion essential. This off-the-shoulder dress would be prefect for any upcoming beachy vacations. It's very lightweight and perfect to wear from the beach to dinner. You can also wear it while shopping in the city, attending a wedding, romantic dinner, thats why i love it so much. It is so versatile. I love this blush pink color with the darker stripes for Spring.
I paired this essential dress with my favorite scrappy handle, I think you guys have heard me talk about this shoe all over my blog and on insta stories, but I am obsessed with it. I love the fact that the heel is so low, it's chunky and looks perfect with pretty much everything.
Off the shoulder and cold shoulder style has been trending for a few seasons now and there are a few styling tips to keep in mind when rocking this look:
Strapless: ALWAYS wear a strapless bra with this any off the shoulder top or dress, most of the time the strapless bra will actually help the body of the item stay in place. A BIG NO NO … don’t show your straps of the bra when trying to pull off a cold shoulder!
Length and Fabric: Make sure the length of the dress is long enough, in case it DOES slip up. A lot of the time there is a top version available so you could just buy the top version so that you don’t need to worry about the length. The fabric is also important, you don't want it to be TOO silky smooth. And patterns are great, there are so many different floras, stripeps and prints. Don't be afraid to branch out.
Arm Holes: This one is a big deciding factor for me, If the arms are separated it allows you to move your arms freely without worrying about the entire dress or top slipping up. The tighter the arm holes the better so that they can stay in place!.
Ruffle: The top portion of these dresses and tops is very important. I love the look of the ones with a ruffle on the top. This helps disguise what’s really going on underneath and I find it looks more summery with the flowing ruffles.
