Happy Friday and thanks so much for stopping by to read this post and be a part of this new journey I am starting. As some of you may know I recently had ankle surgery and am recovering and starting to get back into a fitness routine. Over the last 2 years I have been trying so many different fitness trends and even though I have loved them all I am still not seeing the results I want. I have really though hard about what I want my next step to be and I am so ready to transform my body to something that I am proud of and feel good about. I have made the decision to work with a fitness coach to help me achieve my goals and actually see results this time.
I think that the biggest struggle for me is nutrition and making sure I am not overeating and eating the right things in order to achieve the goals I felt like working with a fitness coach was a good way for me to get help with this. Now don't get me wrong I am not doing any crazy diets I am just changing some things up to make sure that what I am doing in the gym is productive and I am not counter acting it with what I am putting in my body. One of the reasons I choose this fitness coach was that she has a background in nutrition and that she believes that you can still eat the things you love and still get results. I will share some more with you as I go through this journey in regards to this as I have just started tracking my food through My Fitness Pal and so far find it super easy to do and track.
Now lets talk about the workout portion, Spinning is something I absolutely love and it is a great way to get my cardio in without putting stress on my ankle, it is literally the one thing I have done that does not cause me any pain and I feel like I've gotten a great workout so I was not going to give that up. And that is the beauty of working with a fitness coach, everything is customized so it works for you, After meeting with my coach we came up with a plan to continue spinning 3 times a week and adding 3 customized strength exercises into my routine. I will share with you guys once I actually start the different workouts. So I will be working out total of 6 times a week and having a active recovery day.
Here are the goals I have set for myself for the next 12 weeks:
Loose 20 pounds
Have more energy
Loose the fat in my mid section
Feel good about my body
I did a lot of research when I was looking for a fitness coach and chose Paige Vandy . I really liked her take on what being healthy is and how you can really incorporate it into your daily life without depriving yourself of everything you love. She has some great information about different diets such a the trendy KETO diet that you would find interesting and her outlook really spoke to me. I really wanted someone who can customize something for me as everyone requires a different strategy to achieve their goals.
