Although 2020 is coming to a close, it's more important than ever to continue being vigilant about COVID-19 safety practices like social distancing, wearing face masks, and limiting person to person contact as much as possible. With the new regulations and restrictions in place right now our New Years is sure going to be different. That means your New Year's Eve plans should include staying at home. But that doesn't mean your New Year's Eve plans have to be boring! There are so many fun and creative ways to mark the end of 2020 at home. Enjoy some of these new traditions.

ORDER IN
All of the restaurants here are still open so we do have the option to dine in but if you are somewhere where that is not a option then ordering in from your favourite place is such a good option and honestly eating my favourite take out in my PJS sounds really good to me.
MAKE A FUN HOLIDAY COCKTAIL
Just because you cant have friend over doesn’t mean you cant celebrate. I love experimenting and making new cocktail recipes at home. Check out my recent blog post of my 5 favourite holiday cocktails to get some inspo.
MOVIE MARATHON
I know we have all watched a lot of movies and tv shows over the last year but it is honestly one of my favourite at home activities, there are so many great movies to watch, and if you are still in the holiday mood check out my blog post of the Best Holiday movies of 2020.
KAREOKE
Our family loves karaoke, we have a small karaoke machine and it can be so fun to do together. If you don’t have a machine there are a few great apps that you can download and voila you have fun for the whole family
MAKE A CHARCUTERIE BOARD
I love creating fun charcuterie boards, especially this time of the year, they are fun to make and even more fun to eat. A great way to get the whole family involved.
WATCH THE BALL DROP IN TIME SQUARE
Pretty much every New Years we watch this whether we are at a party or home someone always has it on. I imagine this year will be different but it should still be very entertaining and so fun to watch.
ZOOM PARTY
We have all done them all through the pandemic but if you feel like being extra with Zoom then why not have a Zoom Party. Tell everyone to dress up and make their favourite cocktail and get together over zoom and toast the new year.
